  • Anya Nebel makes the impossible look easy. This woman tackles every project with a dedication and a passion that is both breathtaking and contagious. When she smiles, she effervesces. She laughs her deep throaty laugh and you feel as though you have been taken to a speakeasy run by the toughest broad in town. The moment she begins to weave that velvet voice around you, it's over. She makes you feel – joy, pain, hope...you name it. Her commitment to her art is lifelong and a model of what a vocation should be. She is called the stage.

I have had the pleasure, honor and great fortune to work with Anya as a performer, a director and as my employee. In every single one of these capacities she has been the genuine article. She is supportive and giving as well as demanding and forthright. If ever I grow up, I want to be just like her.

  • To date I have worked with Anya Randall Nebel on several projects, and in different capacities. Generous is the word that comes to mind when describing the commonality in it all. She is always a generous actor. Giving from her heart and soul to give the best performance possible, and to be present for the creative process. She is generous as a director. She allows the actors to find the truth, always there with helpful hints and guidance as she steers a project to its fruition. Generous as a producer. Always there in full support of a project, 100%. Helping the creative team, the performers, and those involved in all capacities to bring a project to its stellar fruition. Last but not least, generous as a friend. The one quality that makes all the others shine even brighter.
